The GNGA scholarship, established by the Kaleesuwari foundations, combines merit and means to support deserving students. It honours the memory of the Kaleesuwari Refineries founder's parents, Mr. Gurusamy Nadar and Mrs.Guruvathai Ammal, as a tribute to their enduring values of diligence, determination, and hard work.
Over its three-year existence since 2021, the program has awarded scholarships totalling nearly 1.5 crores to 386 deserving students, enabling them to pursue and complete their college education.
Recognizing the importance of infrastructure in education, the foundation has undertaken initiatives to improve facilities in schools located in rural and remote areas. Infrastructure supports such as bench, desks, computer labs, fully equipped science labs provisions and toilets were constructed for the needy government and government aided schools.
